How to MANAGE 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organizations
Susan Woods Nonprofit Solutions offers one free class each quarter per year. During the third quarter of the year, the “How to Manage 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organizations” is offered.
This free four-hour class teaches you how to manage the human resources, financial resources, and images of your nonprofit organization. Specifically, you will learn the following:
- The human resources management topics will teach you how to determine your human resources requirements, write job descriptions, determine salaries, recruit, interview, hire, manage, promote, or reprimand.
- The financial management topics will teach you how to generate revenues through fundraising, grant writing, and cultivating investments. You will also learn which Form 990 Information Reports to submit to the IRS and the appropriate timelines.
- The image management topics will teach you how to monitor the way your nonprofit organization is presented to the community through written communications, social media, and through how your Board of Directors, employees, and volunteers represent the nonprofit.
